We replaced a fifteen-year-old innerspring with this hybrid in our guest room, and it has been a clear step up. The coils give it a bit of bounce, so getting in and out is easy, while the foam on top keeps my shoulders from going numb when I sleep on my side.
It arrived compressed in a box and needed about a day to fully expand; the new-foam smell was gone after two nights with the window open. Edge support is decent, I can sit on the side to put on socks without sliding off. Motion transfer is low enough that my partner getting up early does not wake me.
After the first weeks the only thing I would change is the cover, which sleeps slightly warm on hot nights. For the price it feels well made.
